This design features one of Tampa’s iconic tugboats — the unsung heroes of the port and the same kind of vessel my dad arrived on when he landed in Tampa in the 1950s with the Merchant Marines. Tugboats have been keeping Tampa’s waterways moving since the early 1900s, nudging giants around the bay with big attitude and small‑boat swagger. It’s a little personal, a little historic, and very Tampa.
